Professor Shyh-Kang Jeng’s students are divided into four groups. The main research direction of each group is given below:
Jeng’s Electromagnetics Group (JEMG) focuses on the AI-aided design of the shape of a robot for optimization of sound source localization.
Jeng’s Computer Music Group (JCMG) applies computers to do the perception, performance, retrieval and personalization of music. Not accept new students.
Jeng’s AI and Multimedia Group (JAMG) develops AI, computational cognitive neuroscience, and multimedia-related systems. The goal is to develop an elder-acccompany robot.
Cognitive Neurorobotics Group (CNRG) is organized to study and apply results of cognitive science areas like cognitive neuroscience and cognitive psychology (especially in the realms of auditory, attention, and natural language processing), to robotics. The goal is to develop an elder-accompany robot and to model human neural systems related dementia.
