研究領域摘要:

吳教授領導的先進電磁研發團隊,主要研究興趣在於開發並推進電磁的場論計算、模型化、分析及設計,以符合下世代半導體電子、無線通訊及雷達遙測的電磁發展與創新。目前致力於三個子題

  1. 毫米波收發模組整合技術,含濾波器、轉接器、多層被動電路、系統整合、及無線射頻系統的物聯網應用等
  2. 電子構裝電氣特性模擬與設計技術,含寬頻等效電路建立、參數擷取、訊號與電源完整度分析與設計等
  3. 電磁場論計算技術,含多尺度時域電磁分析、應用基因演算於電磁設計的最佳化等。

Research Summary:

The main research focus of Professor Wu's group, the advanced electromagnetics modeling and design group, is the exploration and advancement of field computation, circuit modeling, and design technology to meet the leading edge electromagnetic development and innovation for the next generation semiconductor electronics, wireless communication, radar and sensing industry. There are three major ongoing sub-topics under this long term goals:

  1. millimeter-wave transceiver module design and system integration for wireless communication applications, including filters, transitions, multilayer passive circuits, and system integration.
  2. modeling and design for electric performance of electronic packaging, including wideband equivalent circuit establishment, parameter extractions, signal and power integrity analysis, and
  3. development of associated computational electromagnetics techniques, including FDTD for multi-scale systems, optimization by genetic algorithm, and so on.
