Chun-Hsing Li was born in Suao (蘇澳), Yilan, Taiwan. He received the B.S. degree in electrophysics and the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in electronics engineering from National Chiao Tung University, Hsinchu, Taiwan, in 2005, 2007, and 2013, respectively.

In 2014, he joined MediaTek, Hsinchu, Taiwan, as a Senior Engineer. Later in 2014, he joined the Department of Electrical Engineering, National Central University, Jhongli, Taiwan, as an Assistant Professor. In 2018, he joined the Department of Engineering and System Science, National Tsing Hua University, Hsinchu, Taiwan, also as an Assistant Professor. In August 2020, he joined the Department of Electrical Engineering, National Taiwan University (NTU), Taipei, Taiwan, where he is currently a Professor. He was a Visiting Scholar in the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences, UC Berkeley, in the summer of 2023. Since 2023, he has also served as the Vice Director of the Program for Integrated Circuit Design and Automation, Graduate School of Advanced Technology, National Taiwan University. His research interests include RF, millimeter-wave, and terahertz integrated circuits and system design.

Dr. Li has served as a member of the Technical Paper Review Committee (TPRC) of the IEEE International Microwave Symposium (IMS) since 2023 and has been a member of the TC-21 Terahertz Technology and Applications Committee of the IEEE Microwave Theory and Technology Society (MTT-S) since 2022. He also served as a Guest Editor for the IEEE Journal on Emerging and Selected Topics in Circuits and Systems in 2023. He received the APMC 2025 Prize at the Asia-Pacific Microwave Conference (APMC) 2025, the Outstanding Teaching Award from National Taiwan University in 2023, the Exploration Research Award from the Pan Wen Yuan Foundation in 2023, the Academic Contribution Award from the College of EECS, National Taiwan University in 2022, the Outstanding Youth Electrical Engineer Award from the Chinese Institute of Electrical Engineering in 2022, the Outstanding Young Scholar Award from the Taiwan IC Design Society in 2020, the FineTek Technology Gold Award in 2013, and the Jeme Tien Yow Paper Award (Best Paper Award) from the Chinese Institute of Engineers in 2013.
