孫紹華 Shao-Hua Sun
Shao-Hua Sun is an Associate Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering at National Taiwan University (NTU). He received his Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Southern California (USC) and his B.S. in Electrical Engineering from NTU. He has been recognized with the MOE Yushan Young Fellow (教育部玉山青年學者), the NSTC Ta-You Wu Memorial Award (國科會吳大猷先生紀念獎), the IICM K. T. Li Young Researcher Award (中華民國資訊學會李國鼎青年研究獎), the NTU Outstanding Teaching Awards (教學優良獎) in 2024, and the NTU Distinguished Teaching Awards (教學傑出獎) in 2025.
Prof. Sun’s research spans machine learning, robot learning, reinforcement learning, program synthesis, generative models, and foundation models, focusing on developing intelligent agents that can learn, reason, and generalize in complex environments. His work has appeared in leading venues across multiple fields, including NeurIPS, ICML, and ICLR in machine learning; CoRL in robot learning; CVPR and ECCV in computer vision; EMNLP, EACL, and COLM in natural language processing; ICASSP in signal processing; and IUI in human-computer interaction. He has also contributed to the research community by organizing tutorials at NeurIPS 2024 and ACML 2023 and workshops at ICML 2025, RLC 2025, CoRL 2025, ICML 2026, and CoRL 2026. He currently serves as a Workshop Chair for NeurIPS 2026 and as an Area Chair for NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR, and CoRL.
