Shao-Hua Sun is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering at National Taiwan University (NTU). He received his Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Southern California (USC) and his B.S. in Electrical Engineering from NTU. He has been recognized with the Yushan Young Fellowship (玉山青年學者) from the Ministry of Education, Taiwan, and the Ta-You Wu Memorial Award (吳大猷先生紀念獎) and 2030 Cross-Generation Young Scholars Program - Research Project for Emerging Young Scholars (2030跨世代年輕學者方案-新秀學者) from the National Science and Technology Council, Taiwan.

Prof. Sun’s research spans machine learning, robot learning, reinforcement learning, and program synthesis. His work has been published at leading venues across multiple disciplines, including NeurIPS, ICML, and ICLR (machine learning); CoRL (robot learning); CVPR and ECCV (computer vision); and EMNLP and COLM (natural language processing). He has also contributed to the community by organizing tutorials at NeurIPS 2024 and ACML 2023, as well as workshops at ICML 2025, RLC 2025, and CoRL 2025.
