Tony Yang's primary research focuses on developing molecular-resolution nanoscopy and superresolution microscopy techniques to investigate centriolar patterns and the roles of primary cilia in mammalian cells. His interests include designing multiplexed superresolution imaging systems, enabling multicolor imaging, applying machine learning–based superresolution methods, implementing superresolution single-particle tracking, and studying the architecture of primary cilia and centrioles.
