- 5G/6G通訊：研究並加快5G通訊所使用的錯誤糾正碼polar Codes
- 雲端儲存：研究雲端儲存所用的、保護資料不會因硬碟損壞而消失的regenerating codes再生碼，令其節省更多儲存空間
- 高效能運算、分散式計算：研究超級電腦及雲端運算中計算矩陣乘法的部分，加快計算速度並加強其對抗當機之能力
- 壓縮感知及串流演算法：研究compressed sensing、streaming algorithm、unsourced Multiple access channel、group testing的共同數學基礎並改善之
